This system helps staff feel more secure knowing that in an emergency they can summon assistance at the touch of a button on their personal transmitter.

At the simple press of a button this robust and sophisticated system will send a help signal via locally sited ceiling sensors to wherever backup staff are located. This signal will display the precise location of an incident, thus ensuring a swift response. Alternatively the user may raise a higher level of alarm by tugging the unit away from its holder. The pendant will remain attached to the user for additional safety. The units also include a test button which can be used to assess the remaining battery capacity level. Batteries are rechargeable with up to nine month use from a single charge. A concealed socket is provided which accepts the plug from the charging unit. Thus it is not necessary to dismantle the pendant to recharge the battery. The battery test button may also be used in the vicinity of a ceiling sensor to check the signal transmission strength of the pendant. The ceiling sensor will flash to confirm a signal has been received without sending an alarm.
