Integration of any safety and communication systems through TCP/IP
The integration of safety and communication systems in a nursing institution requires intelligent interfaces. The IP (Internet Protocol) is the most widely available protocol and allows easy adaptation to a wide variety of systems.
The ZETTLER Medicall 800 IP care communication system offers certified interfaces to safety management, fire alarm and PABX servers. This allows information to be transmitted both to and from external systems for the purposes of control and visualisation in both directions, thereby meeting the rising standards in the nursing institution and the ever faster pace of change in terminal and user devices.
Features:
Care communications data and audio communication via TCP/IP protocol
Remote maintenance and diagnosis via web server and internet connection
Easy, low-cost installation and cabling with standard CAT5 cables
Low installation expense thanks to the use of multifunction devices
Interfaces to third-party systems such as DECT, PABX or other safety or IT systems by means of TCP/IP link
Integration of PC workstations for the nursing institution and event logging via TCP/IP protocol
Backward compatibility of Medicall 800 IP allows existing ZETTLER care communications systems to be upgraded
Medicall 800 IP delivers both the safety required under DIN VDE 0834 and the flexibility that allows third-party safety and communication systems to be integrated. ZETTLER Medicall 800 systems already installed can be expanded to IP standard at any time, ensuring they meet the requirements of a modern nursing institution. The active room components of Medicall 800 IP are integrated into a LON network. The bed lines and wet cell lines are connected to these active room components (room terminal, room electronics unit) and controlled by them. These areas meet the safety standard under DIN VDE 0834 even if the interfaces and primary systems fail.
