Upgrade from medifon 2010 to Medicall 800

The successful and reliable medifon 2010 system was installed throughout Europe. Most of these systems have already been in operation for many years and no longer conform to the very latest in care communications technology. To meet the growing demands on a modern care communications system, modernisation or even a new installation is frequently required. We offer the possibility of combining medifon 2010 with our modern Medicall 800 system.

The Medicall 800 - medifon 2010 interface allows our Medicall 800 care communications systems to be combined with medifon 2010 with speech. With an interface for systems with speech, this solution offers a broad range of interesting new features.

Features:

• Existing medifon 2010 systems expanded with Medical 800 system
• Existing functions of medifon 2010 imported into Medicall 800
• Functions of medifon 2010 expanded with the functions of Medical 800
• Section controllers and workstations of medifon 2010 replaced with Medicall 800 components
• Medicall 800 workstations (NCS, mediGraph PC workstation) used
• No change to existing room installations of medifon 2010 required
• Existing mains system used for room and ward bus and the answer stations

Features that had previously only been available with our current Medicall 800 system are now also ready for medifon 2010 installations: the use of the mediGraph PC workstation for the management and graphic visualisation of the area, Call Escalator for connecting pager, DECT and PABX systems via the PC, the telephone interface, as well as the whole bandwidth of all interface drivers of Medicall 800 such as those for pager, DECT and PABX systems of leading telephone system manufacturers, particularly with talkback function.

A medifon 2010 system that has been upgraded to Medicall 800 complies with the requirements of the current DIN VDE 0834 standard in sections with new components. The unmodified section of medifon 2010 continues to comply with the requirements of the DIN VDE 0834 standard applicable at the time of commissioning.
