GJD Mini Opal - 30 metre External PIR
The mini Opal, which replaces the existing unit, is an
attractively styled, 30 metre Passive Infrared (PIR) detector
that works with GJD security lighting controllers. The mini

GJD 4 Zone Expansion Unit
The 4 Zone Expansion Unit works in conjunction with
DigiZone lighting controllers, Solitaire Touch Controls and
GJD detection devices. The modular design enables the 4
Zone Expansion Unit to be conveniently installed within
easy access to the mains supply. The low voltage cable link allows the DygiZone lighting controllers, Solitaire Touch Controls and Expansion Units to be
positioned anywhere up to a distance of 200 meters. Also available as a 2 Zone Expansion Unit.
GJD Sapphire 1 Zone Controller
An attractive single zone multi-sensor security lighting
controller utilises external sensors day and night. At dusk
on detection from up to 8 sensor lights are switched
automatically for a selected timed period. Lighting up to
1500W can be switched manually when required. It features
a 24 hour controllable audible warning tone and 4 detection
indicators plus added flexibility of a remote sounder output, walk test facility, and pulse count adjustment and an
optional easy link to a standard alarm panel for instant light activation under alarm conditions.
External PIR’s Lighting
The unit utilises a passive infrared technology to detect heat
radiation of moving human bodies. Upon detection, the
lamp will illuminate for a user-determined time period. An integral daylight sensor ensures night-only operation. The
motion detector has a number of detection zones, at various vertical angles.
A moving human body needs to cross/enter one of these
zones to activate the sensor. The best all-round coverage is achieved with the unit mounted at the optimum height of
2.5m.
