In addition to very competitive pricing, one of the key features on offer is the option to use a freely available and much simplified configuration software tool. This reduces commissioning time and allows contractors and technicians to fully configure the system with minimum training. MXConsys Express will be available “undongled” and complete with templates specific to the MZX125 and MZX250 panels allowing fully compliant BS5839 systems to be configured simply and quickly. Technicians trained to use full MXConsys may prefer to continue to use the software they are most familiar with and the new panels will also support this.
Minerva® MZX125
The Minerva® MZX125 is a 16 zone single loop panel in a compact steel enclosure with an onboard power supply. The stylish user interface is all new and has all the user controls and indications required by the latest EN54 standard. It shares the same large, easy to read 640 character LCD display as the other panels in the MX range. The buttons have a positive and tactile feel with all the labels and text provided through editable inserts making the facia customisable.
When used with MXConsys Express the MZX125 digital addressable loop is limited to 125 addresses but with full MXConsys 250 addresses can be used. With 16 zones available it is likely that the majority of systems will be 125 addresses or less. Unlike the MZX250, the MZX125 is not designed to be networked.
The Minerva® MZX125 is suitable for applications such as smaller commercial and retail premises, primary schools, residential multiple occupancies and senior homes up to 16 zones.

Minerva® MZX250
The Minerva® MZX250 is a 32 zone single loop panel in a steel enclosure with an onboard power supply. Functionally it is the same as the MZX125 but with a different user interface layout that includes the 32 zonal alarm LED display. The 250 addresses available on the loop can be configured using the freely available MXConsys Express or full MXConsys.
The Minerva® MZX250 is fully networkable when fitted with a TLI800 MXNetwork card and configured via full MXConsys. In addition to the MXNetwork card there is room in the Minerva® MZX250 to mount an IOB800 or CCU Modbus interface or 4 ancillary modules. Mounting brackets are available for each application.
The Minerva® MZX250 is suitable for a wide range of applications including hotels, offices and universities together with campus style estates.

MZX Repeaters
To compliment the new MZX125 and MZX250 control panels there are two new repeater panels which are identical in appearance to the control panels. The MZX16R is a 16 zone repeater panel and the MZX32R is a 32 zone repeater panel.
Both are fully functional repeaters and come complete with 240Vac power supply. Up to six repeaters can be driven from each panel and the MZX16R and MZX32R repeaters can be used with the full range of MX panels including the MX1000, MX4000 and MX2 versions.
MZX Accessories
Minerva® MZX125, MZX250 panels and repeaters can be surface or flush mounted. Painted steel bezels are available that allow the enclosures to be fitted semi flush to the level of the door opening.
Two mounting plates are available that allow a number of boards to be housed in the MZX250 and MZX32R enclosures. The first mounting plate can accommodate either one IOB800 providing 8 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs. Alternatively the same bracket will attach four ancillary modules fitted to DIN rail brackets. The second mounting plate is designed to fix the CCU3 MODBUS interface.
