Electro-Magnetic EAS systems create a low frequency electromagnetic field from the pedestal devices. The hard tag material reacts to this magnetic field and causes a signal to be generated back from the tag. The EM system picks up this signal & an alarm is generated.

Wide Aisle Exit EM System
Sensormatic’s affordable Wide Exit detection system combines style with performance to protect merchandise in hypermarkets, supermarkets, libraries, music stores and other retail establishments. The pedestal uses tinted, translucent materials and an ultra modern design to complement the interior of any retail store.
The Wide Exit system can provide either J-Magnetic or P-Magnetic protection across exits up to 1.2m wide. Dual, split, or multi-pedestal configurations are available.

Zone Detection Pedestal System
The Zone Detection System provides a cost effective anti-shoplifting solution for retailers of all types. It features a new center zone detection pedestal designed for use with either J2K or J2K+ systems. The Zone Detection pedestal allows dual aisle coverage with zone differentiation utilizing only one centre pedestal, which reduces the overall width required for two-aisle coverage. A new Dual Aisle controller powers the zone detection configuration.
