Other features offered by the Medicall 800 include general announcements, announcements to individuals or groups of rooms and staff announcements to rooms where nursing staff are present.
The system design can include areas with or without voice communication or alternatively, systems may be configured with both options combined. Should the customer need to change or extend the system in the future, this can easily be achieved with the minimum of disruption.
Advanced technology
Medicall 800 is the first nurse call system to be based on
high-performance, state-of-the-art LON bus
technology.
Security
Thanks to the modular bus structure, faults are
always restricted to the affected component and
never disable the entire system.
Networking capability
Medicall 800 can easily be networked via
standardised interfaces with a fire alarm system,
radio paging system, existing data processing
systems or other third-party installations
according to requirements.
Flexibility
Medicall 800 operates with the latest hardware
and software, so that inter-connections between
wards or expansions can be implemented at any
chosen point at minimum programming cost. This
essentially open-ended, future-proof system
therefore always offers scope for upgrading.
Low-cost installation
Standard telecommunications cables are all that
is required for installation. Since reconfiguration
or expansion of the existing system no longer
requires additional wiring, which avoids high
material and installation costs.
High-precision communications
Medicall 800 provides 16 different call types.
Display texts and call priorities can be defined
individually to meet the customer’s requirements.
The displays essentially provide detailed, multicharacter
alphanumeric text messages. The
display modules are designed for optimum
readability.
Information provided by a nurse call system
must be concise, unambiguous and, above all,
clearly recognisable. Medicall 800 system
components, overdoor lights and multi-character
alphanumeric displays make calls
clearly visible at room level, section level and,
via a connected PC Graphics station, at full
system level. Consequently, you can be sure
that every call in your establishment is
guaranteed to reach the correct recipient as
quickly as possible.
