ZR-DC Variable Speed Telemetry Receiver
The ZR-DC telemetry receiver controls variable speed pan and tilt units. In most applications these can be used with coax based Baxall telemetry control systems, which enable the installer to use just one coax cable to communicate the video signal with a combined telemetry control signal. If the receivers are up to 2km from the control equipment a ZTTP1 adaptor can be installed to enable two wire twisted pair control, or interface to microwave or fibre optic equipment. The ZR-DC offers full variable speed control when used with a ZKX2/J keyboard, ZTX6/J matrix product, or ZMXplus product that is controlled by a joystick keyboard. Pseudo variable speed is provided with other transmitters. ZR-DC also has the facility for 4 auxiliary functions which can be configured for Lamps, Camera power, Wash or Wipe.
ZR3 Mini and ZR4 Receivers
The ZR3 Mini and ZR4 Mini telemetry receivers are coaxial AC pan and Tilt receivers. They will operate from either 20mA twisted pair or coax based Baxall telemetry. The units have adjustable video amplification for long cable runs and ensure easy installation procedures, which are aided by comprehensive on-board test software. The ZR3 Mini has PAN, TILT, ZOOM and FOCUS functions plus 2 auxiliary outputs, each of which can be selected as one of the following - LAMPS, CAMERA POWER, WASH and WIPE. The ZR4 Mini is a powerful full-function telemetry receiver, offering 8 pre-set positions. It has PAN, TILT, ZOOM, FOCUS and IRIS function, and 4 auxiliary outputs, each of which can be selected as - LAMPS, CAMERA POWER, WASH and WIPE. The 4th auxiliary can be configured as a separate output for other devices such as barriers. The ZR4 Mini offers 8 presets which may be set from the control position, or can be controlled by external alarm inputs within the Baxall ZTX range of transmitters. A common alarm relay output is also provided. Both the ZR3 Mini and ZR4 Mini are compatible with the Baxall ZTX range of transmitters and ZMX ranges of Multiplexers which include Telemetry.
DAX Telemetry Dome Converter
The DAX dome converter is designed to control Sensormatic DAX variable SpeedDomes via any Baxall telemetry transmitter. Control is enabled by converting standard coaxial telemetry signaling into twisted pair protocol for the Dome. Installation of the domes is made simple as all signals are transmitted along the coaxial cable to the DAX. Control can be maintained at distances up to 500 meters. Compatible with ZTX6 and ZMXplus with Joystick keyboard for proportional variable speed. Compatible with ZTX3,4,5, 6 and ZMX for pseudo variable speed.
Baxall ZTX 3 4 & 5 Telemetry Transmitter
The ZTX3, ZTX4 and ZTX5 all provide the basic camera control functions of pan, tilt, focus and zoom and have two auxiliary latching functions, traditionally used for camera power and auto-pan but assignable to whichever function the user requires, including non-camera functions such as gate control. The ZTX4 and ZTX5 have additional iris control, two further latching auxiliaries (lamps and wipe) and one momentary auxiliary (wash). All latching keys have an associated LED to indicate their current status. All models use Baxall Coaxial Telemetry, which is compatible with a wide range of Baxall telemetry receivers, and the user may select synchronous or asynchronous telemetry for best picture quality. The ZTX4 also provides for 20mA current loop (twisted pair) telemetry for compatibility with additional receivers.
Baxall ZTX 6 Telemetry Transmitter - Fleximatrix
The ZTX6 range of telemetry transmitter modules and associated keyboards may be used on their own or as part of a highly functional video surveillance system with multiple ZTX6 transmitters, keyboards and multiplexers connected over a BaxNet twisted pair (RS485- based) network. All ZTX6 models provide a comprehensive range of keyboard operated camera control and alarm handling functions, with additional keyboard controls for operation of networked multiplexers and VCR's. Individual ZTX6 models support 8, 16, 24 or 32 cameras and 2, 4, 6 or 8 monitors respectively. The lower capacity models may all be easily expanded at a later date in multiples of 8 cameras and 2 monitors. All models feature "down-the-coax" telemetry, which avoids the need for additional control cabling to each camera. Microprocessor control is provided for reliable and responsive transmission, and high quality design and construction is employed throughout for extended, trouble-free operation. Twisted pair telemetry may readily be added using the ZT-TP coax to twisted pair adaptor. A 2 line by 16 character display on the keyboard assists the operator by showing appropriate help, system status and alarm messages, with key information duplicated on appropriate monitors.
