Redwall
Redwall 404 4010 and 3020 sensors are specifically designed for use in small to medium size external areas. Their rugged construction and reliable operation make them ideal for use as motion detectors in CCTV applications.
The inclusion of dual sensors and processors and high and medium sensitivity settings results in a full specification sensor for the smaller installation. The all metal housing of the sensors provides a stable environment for the detection electronics. The head adjustments are tamper protected to prevent sensors being re-aligned by unauthorised personnel. Sensors come complete with fixings.

Redwide
The Redwide 5030 offers wide angle detection for large external areas. It is able to achieve this by combining a high grade, gold plated optical array with three dual element pyroelectric sensors. This combination achieves significant coverage with a low potential for false alarms. Designed for use with CCTV, the detector coverage matches popular camera/lens combinations. The sensor can be accurately aligned using the optical viewer provided and stability of detection checked with the LRP 1020 Walktester (optional).
Redwall LRP100Q
The Redwall 100Q detector is simple to install and align and reliable in operation. Redwall detectors feature an advanced visual alignment system. At installation a small reflex viewer, supplied with each detector, can be plugged into the sensors front window and provides a view of the area to be protected. An integral mounting bracket allows fixing to wall or pillar and comes complete with fixings.
MegaRed 180Q
A 180m x 4m ‘Super’ long-range passive infrared detector for indoor or outdoor use. MegaRed provides two separate zones of detection to allow alarms to be pinpointed more accurately. The Near’ zone extends from 5m to 80m while the Far’ zone operates from 80m to 180m. The sensor comes with its own controller to simplify system cabling. The controller can be connected remotely from the detector and requires only a two-core cable to be run between itself and the detector head. The two-core cable will simultaneously carry alarm ‘near’, alarm ‘far’ and tamper information as well as power for the detector head. Distance between controller and head can be up to 1.4km when using 2.5mm twin cable. Use of the LRP 1020 walktester is important in achieving optimum alignment. The MegaRed operates on 12vdc and consumes 60mA. Heated versions and sun/snow hoods are available.
GJD Opal Elite
The Opal Elite is a weatherproof PIR designed to simultaneously or individually control CCTV switchers VIDEO recorders and GJD Intruder Lighting Controllers. Two sets of voltage free signal contacts provide the necessary signals to control CCTV switcher/s and video recorder/s etc. Two separate negative switching outputs are provided for further advanced applications if required. These signals are compatible with GJD security lighting controllers for activating security or infra-red camera lighting. The microprocessor controlled electronics with a Intelligent Signal Processing achieves a more stable performance in all weather conditions.
GJD D-TECT3 Triple Technology External Detector
The D-TECH3 triple technology external detector is designed for use with CCTV systems and has the ability to reduce the number of false alarms that are generated by traditional external detectors. This unit incorporates advanced signal processing, unique optical systems and an adjustable microwave sensor for the highest immunity to false and nuisance alarms. This detector should be used in all installations that are to be monitored by ADT’s Central Station.
The D-TECT3 is a BS 8418 compliant, quad PIR and microwave external movement detector which can be used to control cameras. The detector’s triple technology sensing module is equipped with two volt free and two negative switched outputs with a programmable beam range of up to 30 metres, avoiding boundary overspill and offering truly exceptional resistance to false alarms.
